The aim of this survey.
This survey aims to provide information about the feasibility of the project “Never Alone Again” a project of the charity “Logical Accessibility Solutions”.
The project aim is to provide a Computer to the disabled and the elderly after suitable training in the use of the system.
After the face to face survey conducted by Glasgow Caledonian University revealed that the uptake of offer was in the region of 68% and that space for a standard computer was a problem we are considering a change to the initial proposal as follows.
Supplying a new Laptop Computer.
Asking the participant or their family to make a donation of £5.00 per week this would cover the cost of an broadband connection and the cost of the Laptop.

We require people to conduct a survey with friends, family or others over the age of 60 and to return the results to us by filling in the form provided on this web site.

The aims of this proposal.
- To establish an Community Internet ad training cafe in a Main street location that will be accessible to the elderly and disabled.
- To Train the Elderly and Disabled in the use of the Computer and the Internet at the Cafe or in their own home..
- To provide after reaching a standard level of competence a Laptop Computer and install it in their home.
- To provide a broadband connection.
- To provide and install a web cam.
- To provide an External security camera connected to the computer.
- To provide and install a Internet phone.
- To provide games and contests for all members.
- To provide help with any computer problems either at the Community Cafe or at their home.
